Contract Initially carried out Business and Software Analysis of Fexco International Payments Division customer website and backoffice software. Redeveloping 'International Payments' Extranet and Backoffice using ASP.Net and C#. Developed .Net Webservice to feed live rates to existing VB6 Extranet. Made extensive use of www.telerik ASP.NET UI components. Also used Sql Server Reporting Services. Development done in short iterative cycles using Agile XP development environment.System takes 'payment files' from clients 'Accounts Payable' departments and transfers monies to beneficiaries using cheques or telegraphic transfer. Clients get 'real time' foreign exchange rates at time of file upload. Funding of transactions and invoicing of client also carried out as part of 'Back Office' application. Uses MS SouceSafe source controlInvestigated use of NHibernate to design architecture to map OO Domain to sql server RDBMS for new phase of development. 1991 - 1994 Developed and programmed many financial management and data entry projects using Clarion 4GL for companies such as Western Union, Cashback and The Prize Bond Co. of Ireland. Later developed similar systems in Visual Basic using Access and Watcom client/server database. Designed and programmed in-store system for Harrods in London. Worked on application to manage Foreign Exchange transactions at off-site bureaus. Also gained experience in developing macros in MS Word Basic and Ole2 links to Excel 5
